I’m a thoughtful, down-to-earth, fun-loving musician who was born into a musical family in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Having parents who played various instruments and who greatly valued music, I was exposed to and transfixed by all kinds of music. My talent was recognized at a young age and my parents made sure that I never missed a piano lesson. 

Today, my versatility as a keyboard player includes the worlds of rock, metal, ambient, alternative and experimental. While exploring this variety of styles, I’ve had broad exposure to other talented musicians who’ve helped shape my career and musical experience. My professional approach is both accessible and artistic. 

I was a founding member of Minnesota black metal bands Epicurean and Lorde of All Desires. Never one to sit still for very long, my independent music project, Shadowchase, is also currently in development. I also started the 80s hair metal and rock cover band Rockfist! in 2005.

Savatage and Trans Siberian Orchestra are my biggest influences. The musicians who influenced me the most: Kevin Moore, Alice Cooper, JS Bach, Henryk Gorecki, Jorden Rudess, Jonathan Cain, David Bryan, Cevin Key, Mortiis, and Enya.
